Regulations of Participation in Integration Days and the Campus Game ‘Discover Lazarski University’

§ 1
General Information

  1. The organizer of the Integration Days and the Campus Game ‘Discover Lazarski University’ (hereinafter referred to as the Game) is Lazarski University with its seat at Swieradowska Street, 43, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Organizer’ or ‘University’.
  2. The aim of the Integration Days is to familiarize new students with the structure of the university and get to know each other.
  3. The Integration Days will take place at the University on September 29th and October 5th, 2022.

§ 2
Registration

  1. The participants of the Integration Days are the first-year students who start their studies at Lazarski University in a given academic year.
  2. People who want to participate in the Integration Days must complete the application form available on the following website - www.integracja.lazarski.pl - by September 22nd, 2022, in case of students of the Polish language studies and by September 28 th , 2022, in case of students of the English language studies, and read the Information Clause regarding the processing of personal data and receive an e-mail confirmation of the application.
  3. Personal participation in the Integration Days means the obligation to comply with these Regulations. The content of the Regulations will also be available at the venue of the event. The participant is obliged to read the Regulations and accept them.

§ 3
Photos during the Integration Days

  1. In order to document the Integration Days and the Campus Game, photos that were taken during the event, will be published on the University's websites and on the University's social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram.

§ 4
Game Rules

  1. The Campus Game ‘Discover Lazarski University’ will be held on September 29th and October 5th, 2022, at Lazarski University in Warsaw. The game is part of the Integration Days organized for students of the first year of Lazarski University.
  2. The aim of the Campus Game is to familiarize first-year students with Lazarski University and its individual departments.
  3. The task of the participants of the Campus Game is to navigate between individual Points and to complete tasks. For each completed task, participants may receive points, which will be awarded by one of the Organizers. Organizer grants points depending on the correctness of the task completion. The following will be assessed: cooperation, ingenuity, creativity, degree of task completion, commitment. If the task is not completed, the participants do not receive any points.
  4. Participation in the Game is free of charge.

§ 5
Game Participants and Entries

  1. The condition for participation in the Campus Game is to register for participation via the application form available on the website https://integracja.lazarski.pl/en/ to meet the conditions set out in § 2 of the Regulations.
  2. The application can be submitted by September 22 nd , 2022, in case of students of the Polish language studies and by September 28 th , 2022, in case of students of the English language studies.
  3. The selection of the patrols is at the discretion of the Organizer. In justified cases, the participant may be transferred to another patrol.
  4. In each patrol there will be a coordinator - a person appointed by the Organizer. The tasks of the coordinator include:
    1. Gather all members of the patrol, greet them and introduce them to each other.
    2. Assistance in reaching points and completing tasks.
    3. Motivating and supporting members of the patrol.
    4. Help in determining a strategy that will allow participants to score as many points as possible.
  5. Each person taking part in the Campus Game should be in good health, enabling participation in the Campus Game.
  6. In the event of a violation of these Regulations, breaking the fair play rules, or making the Game difficult for other participants, the Organizer has the right to exclude the patrol at any time during the Game. The Organizer's decision in this matter is final.
  7. The organizer may refuse the participation of the participant in the Campus Game if he finds that the participant is under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants.
  8. During the Game, members of individual patrols cannot separate. The number of patrol members will be verified at individual points. In the event of discrepancies, the patrol will be able to proceed with the implementation of a given task only when all its members are at the point.
  9. The number of patrols that may take part in the Game is determined by the Organizer.
  10. Patrols can count about 10 people.
  11. The Organizer will inform each of the participants to which patrol he/she was assigned on the day of the Integration Days.

§ 6
Course of the Game

  1. The game starts on September 29th, 2022, at 10 AM, and on October 5th, 2022, at 10 AM.
  2. Each patrol will receive from the Organizer a starter package containing:
    1. Patrol card, on which the composition of the patrol and its name should be entered.
    2. Map of places, the so-called locations, and its order within which patrol must move.
    3. Additional instructions and props, if required by the tasks.
  3. Tasks performed by patrols will have the character of dexterity and knowledge tasks.
  4. At each location, a Point-Keeper will be waiting for patrols, representing the Organizer and ensuring that the tasks are properly performed. After completing the task, the Point-Keeper will award points to the patrol.
  5. For completing the task, the patrol may receive from 1 to 10 points.
  6. Scoring is secret, the scoring team does not tell the patrol the number of points awarded to them.
  7. After the game is over, the patrol has the right to obtain information on the number of points scored.
  8. The game consists of about 8 quests (locations to be visited). If all mandatory tasks are not completed, the patrol will not be considered in the process of selecting the winners.
  9. Additionally, patrols may receive points for taking a photo inside the campus building with the name of the patrol visible therein.
  10. In order to receive points for photos, the patrol must send it to the University's Instagram account @lazarskiuni. For a photo the patrol can get 3 points.

§ 7
Campus Game Winners

  1. The game ends on September 29th, 2022, at 1 PM, and on October 5th, 2022, at 1 PM.
  2. Patrols that do not return their patrol card to the Final Point by 1 PM will not be considered in the process of determining the winners.
  3. The end of the Game is not tantamount to announcing the results.
  4. The Winners of the Game will be selected after all the points they received for completing the tasks in individual Points have been counted. The winner of the Game will be the patrol with the highest total score.
  5. In the event that two or more patrols receive an equal number of points, they will proceed to an additional decider task that will ultimately determine the winners.
  6. The results will be announced within a maximum of two hours from the end of the Game. In addition, the results will be announced and published on the University's social media, among others on the Instagram feed.

§ 8
Processing of Personal data

Processing of personal data of participants registering for the Integration Days and entering the Game.

  1. The Administrator of your personal data is Lazarski University with its registered office in Warsaw, Świeradowska Street 43, 02-662.
  2. The Administrator appointed a Data Security Officer who can be contacted via the following email

  4. Your personal data will be processed in order to participate in the Integration Days of the academic year at Lazarski University pursuant to art. 6 sec. 1 let. b - implementation and taking actions to perform the contract and art. 6 sec. 1 let. f GDPR, the legitimate interest of ensuring contact with participants and realization of the approved calendar of events of the academic year by the university.
  5. Your personal data can also be processed in case you participate in the Campus Game 'Discover Lazarski University' pursuant to art. 6 sec. 1 let. b - implementation and taking actions to perform the contract and art. 6 sec. 1 let. f GDPR, the legitimate interest of ensuring contact with participants and taking care of the proper process of communication and integration of students.
  6. Your personal data will be kept by the Administrator for the period necessary to implement your participation in the Integration Days; if you participate in the ‘Discover Lazarski University’ Campus Game, until the organized event is resolved.
  7. The recipients of your personal data will be entities authorized to obtain personal data on the basis of legal provisions. Personal data may be transferred by us to entities that operate the Administrator's ICT systems and provide ICT tools or provide cloud, email and hosting services.
  8. Your personal data will not be subject to automated decisions, including profiling.
  9. You have the right to request access to your personal data from the Administrator and the right to rectify, erase or restrict processing of the data, as well as the right to transfer your data.
  10. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
  11. You are entitled to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on Article 6 sec. 1 let. f of the GDPR for reasons connected with your particular situation.
  12. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Failure to provide the data will result in the inability to participate in the Integration Days and the 'Discover Lazarski University' Campus Game.
  13. Your personal data will not be transferred to a third country / international organizations unless it is required by the legal obligations of the Administrator.

§ 9
Final Provisions

  1. These Regulations come into force on the day of publication on the University's website.
  2. In matters relating to the course of the Game, not provided for in these Regulations, the decisive vote belongs to the Organizer.
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to postpone, extend or interrupt the Game for valid reasons.
  4. Any changes to the Regulations will be available on the University's website.
